← back homemy story, the longer version

Hi, I'm Malavika.

I'm a content creator based in Mumbai. I help other creators figure out what to make, how to pitch it, and what to charge — with the kind of straightforward advice I wish I'd had at the start.

✦ Miss India state finalist📺 Himalayas national campaign🎬 Producer + presenter✨ 5,200+ creators

The short version.

I started as a freelance model, then competed in Miss India and made it to the state final. Stage lights teach you a lot about composing yourself in 2 seconds — turns out that's the same skill Reels need.

In 2022 I was the face of a national Himalayas campaign. Billboards in 9 cities. TV. People recognised me at airports. It was the kind of moment that should have launched a career, but I wasn't sure yet what career I wanted.

So I took a corporate job for two years. Steady. Boring in the best way. And every evening I posted, edited, pitched, learned. By month 18 I was earning more from brand deals on the side than from my day job. Month 24 I quit.

What I do now.

I make content for creators. Not for general audiences — for the people who are also trying to do this. That means templates, planners, rate cards, presets, hooks, pitching scripts. And one-on-one calls when someone needs to cut through the noise quickly.

I also still produce + present for brands. The presenting work keeps me sharp; the producing work keeps me humble.

Why I do it this way.

Because the creator economy in India is gatekept in weird ways. People charge ₹20k for what should be a ₹500 PDF. Or they hide their actual rate cards behind agency walls. I'd rather just show my work, charge fairly, and let other creators do this without paying for the same mistakes I made.
